Shakespeare
After our discussion in class about
who wrote Shakespeare, my group and I believe that Shakespeare wrote the Shakespearean plays. There are historical facts about
him and his plays and all the other things that he has done. William Shakespeare was an actor in a company that produced the plays featured
by him, and the people who knew the writer of the plays and poems knew that the credited writer was William Shakespeare. There
are also poems credited to his name as well as plays. This is why we think that he so the true author of Shakespeare. Although
there are many arguments against this, we think that he is truly the author of the plays and poems.
Antistratfordians try
to seduce their readers into believing that there is some sort of "mystery" about the authorship of Shakespeare's works. They
often assert that nothing (or at most very little) connects William Shakespeare of Stratford to the works of William Shakespeare
the author, or that the evidence which exists is "circumstantial" and subject to some doubt. These are astounding misrepresentations
that bear little resemblance to reality. Indeed, abundant evidence testifies to the fact that William Shakespeare of Stratford
wrote the works published under his name, and this evidence is as extensive and direct as the evidence for virtually any of
Shakespeare's contemporaries. In their essay How We Know That Shakespeare Wrote Shakespeare: The Historical Facts, Tom Reedy and David Kathman summarize the extensive web of evidence that identifies
William Shakespeare of Stratford as the man who wrote the works of William Shakespeare.

Some think that Shakespeare did not
write the Shakespeare plays and poems. The reason for this is they think that the author/ play writer Edward de Vere wrote
Shakespeare. They say that the two men were one because the say he wrote under the pen name Shakespeare. To this it is impossible.
The Oxfordians thought that is was a pen name but it is not true. William Shakespeare was indeed a real person, because authorities
have found historical evidence that the name of a man Shakespeare was connected to the construction of plays. There was no
evidence that the name William Shakespeare was a pen name. Also the Shakespeare was an actor and his name has been credited
for many parts within the plays.
In conclusion, how do we know that William Shakespeare was the
author of Shakespearean works? First of all, there are historical records strongly proving it. Secondly, there was never any
speculation or accusations that anyone else wrote Shakespeare’s works. Lastly, there are connections from William Shakespeare
being an actor, to the co-owner of a production company, to the writer of many plays and poems.
